WHAT IS THE BRIEF?
The brief for this unit is to make 3 graphics design pieces for a made up festival called steel city fest. The design had to include a logo design for the festival and it was your choice to pick other you would like to do, I chose ticket design, flyer design, magazine design and a poster design.


WHO IS THE AUDIENCE?
The audience for my graphic pieces are the public, but specifically adults from about 18 years old and upwards to about 50 years old. It is aimed at people that love indie music and artists for example, arctic monkeys and Kaiser chiefs. The gender of my audience is male and female and I don’t have any graphics pieces that would seem more appealing to a certain gender.

HEALTH AND SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS.

  • Make sure all equipment is safe
  • Do not put any models or myself at risk
  • Use a safe environment
  • Make sure all wires are out of the way
  •     Make sure there is no objects in the way


LEGAL AND ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS.

  •    Make sure you are not taking pictures of people that do not want to be photographed
  •  Don’t take any pictures that could be insulting to anyone’s religion or race or sexuality.
  •  Don’t go on owned land or buildings with out the owners permission
  •     Don’t take pictures of peoples work without permission


ASA CONSIDERATIONS

  • My pieces must not cause offence to any viewer.
  • My pieces must not glorify alcohol, sexual activity, drug taking.
  • My pieces must not cause any harm to children.
  • My pieces should not be misleading. 
  • My pieces should not give false information about what they are selling or promoting.
